This collection which contains 90.000 photographs is constituted by three important nuclei, organised by themes:

1.photographic portraits of actors, drama writers, directors, technicians and theatre people;

2. stage photographs; 

                 

3. photographs of performance spaces – theatres (interiors and exteriors), audiences, advertising.
A significant part of the two first nuclei are photographs of important authors, among which are Bobone, San Payo, Novaes, Bourdain de Macedo, Silva Nogueira,
J. Marques and Charles Ichaï.
